The TriAire

The TriAire –

A versatile fan. Pick your motor, pick your blades, add the optional light kit if needed. With its Wet rating, you can install it just about anywhere in color selections of your choice (it comes in Marine grade now, too). Size ranges from 44" - 84" in five motor options and five blade options; pick your own color combinations without price changes (it's important to note that for this fan, like the Spitfire, the motor, blades, and light kits are purchased separately. The blades do come in a pack of three, though!)

SIZING DIAGRAMS

It is important to note that ceiling fan blades between 44" to 60" will use a different motor than the fan blades 64" to 84"; the included down rod size also changes from 4.5" to 8" respectively. Be sure you don't mix your SKUs or the fan may not function properly/to its best performance (we definitely don't want you to accidentally void warranty, either). You're welcome to reach out to us any time for help!

Zelle's Summary of this Fan

Another great creation is this TriAire. With sizes ranging from 44" to 84", you can use the same fan in the entire home, changing just the sizes and colors in each. Kid's rooms? Go with white for the inevitable room-theme changes that are coming. Main bedrooms and living areas? We can match your hardware, furniture, and home theme overall.

Other than just an all matte black or matte white fan, one customer favorite I see combined often is the Matte Greige motor with Weathered wood blades and/or optional light kit in a matching Matte Greige (this is the banner image above).

The aspect that I'm able to pick the motor, blades, and optional light kit is a great way for keeping the style of the fan in your home consistent, without taking away from the various decor changes that each room may have. It's fun doing more than just a white fan in every room sometimes. For rooms that have recessed cans you can use the fan without a light, while spare rooms that have nothing in the ceiling except a spot for a fan, just get the light kit added to them. Easy-peasy. No matter what combination you choose, the fan price stays the same, making your color selections easier.

This entire family is Wet Rated with a DC motor, which is the quieter of the two motor types, tends to last longer, and has a complimentary smartphone app that comes with it.

And can I just highlight the sleek, contemporary motor? Talk about square edges, straight lines, and just a hint of softness.

Probably my favorite feature of a ceiling fan (that is included with DC-motored Fanimation fans and all of the Modern Forms product line) is the Breeze or Fresh Air mode. This setting will fluctuate the speed of the fan, at random (high for some time, low for a few seconds, medium for a bit, etc.). I use this setting daily, unless I really want the fan to just blow on high the whole time. For nighttime reasons, it made a noticeable difference – we rarely have it on any other setting now.

App Control
The app control is really easy to use; adding a fan didn't take much time at all. I schedule my fans to blast on high while I'm away from home, then we use it on the breeze mode otherwise. The free app allows for you to schedule your fan to be on/off at certain times, which has helped me greatly. The whole point of a ceiling fan, is to mix the air and keep it flowing (it's why beach places leave their windows open). My suggestion, would be to schedule your fan to spin on full blast while you're away, then have it turn itself off around your general return-to-home time.

Do I have a TriAire?
You bet; I own two actually with plans to purchase a third for my office. I own two 72" matte blacks, without light kits. One is in a bedroom measuring roughly 15' x 19' while the other in a living room roughly 14' x 12' (we fit a 9' x 12' rug in it, with 12-24" around it still having the hardwood exposed). I love them both, so much.
